In the framework of the World Space Week, held in Seville from October 4 to 10, Grabysur has participated in an interesting activity that has taken place at the Science Museum: “Coffee with science, Women and Space”.
The objective of this meeting has been to share with students of the last year of Baccalaureate all the possibilities offered by the aerospace industry, both in Seville and in the Andalusian region, since it is one of the main pillars of our economy. A sector that we must continue discovering to next generations, especially because it is integrated by many professional profiles.
Our workmate Xuria García has shared her own professional experience with young students, what her daily life is like and the kind of work she develops in Grabysur. But above all, she also wanted to encourage girls to study scientific and technological careers. Although it is true that more and more women are working in the aerospace sector, it is still a low percentage.
Grabysur has participated for the first time this year as a collaborator in the World Space Week in Seville, along with some thirty institutions and companies.
