From May 12 to 14, the defense industry will show its muscle in Madrid on the occasion of the International Defense and Security Fair of Spain (Feindef), a biennial event whose fourth edition will be the largest of those organized so far: it will have 66,690 square meters and will bring together 601 exhibitors from 65 countries (70% more than in 2023), 75% of them SMEs.
More than 35,000 professionals are expected to attend (44% more) and our executives Paz Gutiérrez and Fernando Besa have gone there to visit, among others, the TEDAE stand, and have greeted its general manager, César Ramos. Feindef is a good opportunity for our company to establish contact with potential partners for future agreements, as well as to highlight the technologies we manufacture and our specialization in aeronautical components for the defense sector.
On April 23rd the Government announced the Industrial and Technological Plan for Security and Defense, with 10,471 million euros to be allocated before the end of the year, which allows our country to reach the much demanded 2% of our GDP in defense investments. A very propitious framework for the celebration of this meeting in Ifema.
